- Photos you capture using the App are uploaded to Cloudinary (a third-party image hosting service) for storage and delivery
- Cloudinary automatically recompresses images to optimize file size and reduce storage
- Photo URLs (not the images themselves) are stored in our database (Firebase) to enable retrieval and display of your images
- SnapDate metadata including theme selections, prompt text, and completion status
- Date and time stamps associated with your SnapDates
- Photos may also be stored locally on your device for offline access
Important: We only collect photos that you explicitly capture through the app's camera feature. We do not access your existing photo library except when you choose to save completed SnapDate collages.

We collect minimal technical information necessary for app functionality:
- Device information (operating system version) - required for app compatibility
- App crash logs - to identify and fix technical issues

2.4 Camera and Storage Permissions
The App requires certain permissions to function properly:
- Camera access: Required to capture photos for each scavenger hunt item during your SnapDate adventure. Capture pictures of the prompts you find to complete your themed photo collection! Note: We only capture still photos, not videos or audio.
- Photo library access: Required to save completed SnapDate graphics and photo collections to your device's gallery so you can share your memories
- Storage access: Required to save finalized SnapDate images and data locally on your device
Important: We do not request or use microphone permissions, location tracking, or any other permissions beyond those listed above.

We use the collected information solely for:
- Providing and maintaining the App and its core features
- Storing and syncing your SnapDates across devices
- Processing your in-app purchases and subscriptions (handled by Apple App Store / Google Play Store)
